Arrangements after a Forced Landing

If the passengers are unharmed and the aircraft intact, the following tasks must be performed:

  • Procedures according to the VFR-MANUAL
  • Make sure the ATC flight plan (PLN) is closed.

Landing at an restricted aerodrome, not authorized for civilian traffic

  • There is no valid prescribed procedure.
  • Individual regulation with the operator, the persons in charge or the authorities apply.

After a forced landing outside an aerodrome it is forbidden to take off again, even if it is possible. The pilot must, insofar as he is able to do so, take the following measures:

the owner of the aircraft must be informed as soon as possible!
