To know how to stabilize a turn
Lookout
During the entire maneuver, the airspace shall be checked periodically, especially in the direction of the turn initiated.
Stabilizing a Turn
After reaching the desired BANK, the roll movement must be stopped and the aileron control must be placed in neutral position. It should actually be slightly countersteered to the turn.
Stabilizing a Turn
In visual flight, the reference for the attitude is an imaginary point on the windscreen. The attitude is maintained by visual references on the windscreen using the ailerons and the elevator control.

The additional lift required is produced by a measured back pressure on the elevator control, which is not trimmed during the turn.

Control around the vertical axis results in a pressure on the rudder in the direction of the offset ball:
- Ball on the outside of the turn, SKIDDING
- Ball on the side inside the turn, SLIPPING
Stabilizing a Turn
In airplanes where the seat is not in its axis of symmetry, the vision in a left turn is not the same as the one in a right turn.
