Flight Control Technique to Maintain a Constant Approach Angle and a Given Airspeed

The flight path shall be maintained by means of the pitch control, the speed shall be maintained by variations in power.

PITCH / POWER PROPHYLAXIS

On final approach, the airspeed must be kept constant, so every PITCH change requires power adaptation.
