To know the criteria for a straight and level flight

Level Flight Criteria

The criteria for straight and level flight with constant power are as follows:

• constant airspeed on the ASI

• constant altitude on the ALT

• zero indication on the VSI

Trimming Level Flight

Trimming shall be done in accordance with the following procedure:

• Maintain the pressure on the flight controls until the final stabilization of the attitude
  

• Trim away the remaining pressure
