Airworthiness Category
The category in which your training airplane is certified is listed in the AFM.
Because there is a link between the maximum allowable load factor and the mass of the aircraft, the current category must be checked before advanced exercises.
Categories are shown in the graph for calculating mass and balance.
Engine Power and Radius of a Steep Turn
Reminder:
Each increase in the angle of attack causes an increase in total drag.
In turns, the engine power must be increased to maintain airspeed.
To perform steep turns with the basic training airplane, the power must generally be set to climb power, ie FULL POWER.
